Terms and Conditions for Franchisees
  • Franchises are allowed only at places where hauling vehicle (10 tons) can reach. If this is not possible, the items shall be carried to the franchisee at the expense of the franchisee. Products are delivered only once in 15 days.
  • The franchisee must start functioning in less than 45 days of confirmation of approval by the franchiser. The agreement will be void if the franchisee doesn't become operational in 45 days.
  • The franchisee must abide by the rules and directions of the periodic circulars sent by the franchiser. The directions must be put into action within the stipulated period. The employees at the franchisee should behave politely and gentlemanly towards the customers. The shop should be set orderly and clean.
  • Boards and promotional materials for the franchisee can be bought from the franchiser only. Franchisees can buy signboards, racks, counters and promotional materials from the franchiser. The franchisee shall not buy anything for the operation, promotion or display from any other sources.
  • Sundays are off day for employees. In case this is not possible, employees shall be given double wages. The off day can be determined based on a district wide consensus.
  • 6. The day's turnover minus 5% shall be deposited at bank on the next working day.
  • The amount invested for the franchisee shall not be used for any other purpose for the first eighteen months.
  • Promotions of any kind should have the consent of franchiser and the promotions are at the expense of the franchisee only.
  • The employees at the franchisees must wear company-specified uniform during working hours.
  • First Friday of every month is the payday. Companies must pay the employees the amounts as specified by Minimum Wages Act. The franchisees that have 20 or more employees shall make ESI and EPF deposits.
  • There should be a manager and a bill clerk for managing the activities at the franchisee. The franchisee can add and employee with additional turnover of Rs. 15,000. A manager for administrative purpose shall be employed when the turnover crosses one lakh.
